she says that he is on drugs and that they haven't talked in about three days but i dont know if i should ask her out. i need help.

why dont you tell her how you feel and go ahead and ask her and if she brings up the "bf" then tell her yo uwill treat her better

How old are you? i see things like this. If I want your girl and your girl wants me you are out of luck. The girl chooses the guy man not the other way around. She is talking to you for a reason keep talking you know? Have you begun to consider she likes bad boys...i.e he does drugs?
I just think the major point here is not to be scared of the fact that she has a BF. Be weary though, you don't want some unhinged gangster at your door ready to go at it. Hard decision to make. I would say give it about another 2 weeks, over which time you really get into asking things like what kinda things do you like to do, what makes you happy and all that jazz. If you like her these things won't be a problem to do. Even just little things and spending time should do it.
What has always worked for me is being honest with whomever I am talking to. Tell her you like her and that you know she has a boyfriend. Tell her why you are a better match for her. This she should beable to see. this idea of being straight forward is something that works alot with women. They like strength. Show her how string you are by telling her what you feel.

Let her figure her problems out first. Dont rush into anything unless shes ready. Though they havent talked in 3 days, something still might be there and you dont want to make her feel uncomfortable by making her choose

NO way! Forget about her and move on. Unless you want to add a new problem to your life, don't do it. There are many healthy girls out there. Even when drog addicts are in recovery it is not a path you want to follow

if her bf is on drugs, you'd better be very careful in liking HER because you don't know what her drugged-up b/f will do to you. i hope she is really worth it!

I think you should just be her friend and stay some distance away from her so that her boyfriend won't get jealous.
