My girlfriend and I a going on a trip next month to Las Vegas. It will be the first trip we've been on since we've been reunited after a break up. We plan on getting a room together and restarting our sex life again. She mentioned to me last night that the time that we have planned to go to Vegas falls at a time when she will most likely will be on her cycle. I told her that I don't have sex with a woman when she's on her cycle because I think is nasty and messy. I don't see why a person can't wait until that time has passed. She went on to say that she use to date a guy that had no problem with digging right the blood. She thinks I'm too much of a clean, soft guy. What do you people out there think of having sex during a ladies menstrual cycle? Am I to soft by not liking to do it during that time?

It's probably not a good idea because her chances of getting a uterine infection are increased during her menstrual cycle because the cervix is slightly dilated.

I use to be very uncomfortable doing it during that time of the month - I would stop sex all together ... until I met my current love ... he's so comfortable with me ... and I'm so comfortable with him we can talk about everything ... if he doesn't have a problem with it ... then why should I ... yes it can be a little messy ... but there's nothing a nice hot shower won't take care of ... plus you usually get some in the shower afterwards too if you're good ... lol ... if she's a heavier bleeder ... I totally understand ... I'll have sex during my cycle but only when it's light & he's really turned on ... think of the act ... the pleasure you're getting ... place a towel under her @ss and there ya go ... to me if you really want it ... you'll get it ... period or not ... !

There is no medical reason to avoid sex during menses. If it's your personal preference than that's fine. I see nothing wrong with having intercourse during a woman's cycle. Just lay a towel down. Or if it suits you better make love in the shower. The cycle stops during a shower or bath. Then no problem for messes and its a quick clean up. Good Luck

Well first no matter what you like or don't like in bed is fine. It's a personal decision and you should never feel guilty for wanting or not wanting anything in the bedroom.

Just a little FYI though, if your girl wears a tampon before hand chances are it really won't get that messy. Put some wet wipes or tissues next to the bed for quick clean up afterwards and really it should be fine.

But really do what your comfortable with and don't let anyone tell you what you should or shouldn't like.

This is all up to you, girl vagina is sensitive and extra wet at this time. And this could be very messy and dangerous. This is a first of a boy having problems with doing it. If she is down for it then do it. It could be the best sex you two ever had she's going to be tender and juicy and your going to slide rite in. The only thing is do you know if she is clean. Because this reduces the risk of disease 100% and sex is not worth dying. Maybe you should try anal sex less messy and you want have to wipe blood off your dick. just a little poo poo. lol condoms are a must in the situation.
It's Vegas what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Just be careful if you decided to do it, because blood is hard to get out. And they will charge you for those stains. GOOD LUCK....

I think it is sexy when a guy doesn't mind having sex during a menstrual cycle, not the first day, because of the pain, but like a couple days later.

Dude, you're not soft but it's not that big a deal either. I mean unless you faint or gag at the sight of blood, it's perfectly doable. I know it's not the ideal situation but if you've been apart for a while and longing for each other and she's not shy about it... Why not (again, unless you have a fear of blood or something)? Anyways, I guess it's a very personal thing. I have a friend that always says... "I'll try anything... once". Bon Voyage!!!

Well, it is all a personal preference. Neither you or your girl are wrong about when you should be having intercourse. If you are uncomfortable with the "mess" of it then maybe you guys could compromise. Try having intercourse in the shower. That will clean away the menstrual blood right away but give her the closeness she is wanting to have with you. This is what my fiance and I do when it is "that time of the month". I hope that you will both find pleasure in being alone with one another and not let this issue ruin your trip!

Well honestly you arent a soft guy...A lot of men share that same feeling and she will just have to respect that. If you love her a lot just give it a try, you have nothing to loose if after a few minutes (thats if you last a few minutes) then you can let her know you tried it and you either liked it or you didnt. That way she cant be like well you've never done it so how would you know.....
I am a woman and I understand what you are talking about dont worry.

Nah, everyone has their own preferences. My bf says "It's only blood" but I know there are guys who I've dated in the past who would be uncomfortable with it. She shouldn't expect you to be like everyone else. If you want to then go for it.. if not, then that's what you want. Nothing wrong with waiting but if you absolutely have to do it, the shower is a great way to make a messy situation a lot less messy and even better if it's during one of her light days.

Here's a idea. If she is on birth control. Just don't start taking the blue one's. There are 21 white then 7 blue open up next month's and keep taking the white one's. It's a thought and I've done it. From personal experience's of going on trip's.
