And it is something that most christians can't understand.
There is ZERO proof or evidence to support the existence of your magic sky pixie, none. Yet you persist in saying that there is proof. Fine, provide it. You'd be the first person in history to do so.
Let me see if I can explain it in terms you christians can understand;
If I were to say that I worship a magic milk jug that grants my every wish and never get's empty no matter how often I pour milk from it, would you believe me?
No, of course not. Such an asinine comment would simply be ignored. But suppose I kept pestering you, kept saying I had "proof" would you believe? Or would you finally say "fine, show me the proof"?
You'd want proof wouldn't you? Yet when pressed for proof, what would you say if I simply said "well you just have to have faith, the magic milk jug doesn't allow scrutiny or tests.
What would you say?
Just like we do in regard to your magic sky-pixie you call 'god' we shake our heads and leave.

But who knows, one of you might actually have proof.
Go ahead, I'll check back...

1st answer and already we have an idiot...
Sweetie, you cannot disprove a negative. It is up to YOU to prove your magic sky pixie exists, just as it would be my job to prove the existence of my magic milk jug. You don't have to disprove it doesn't exist, because of course, it doesn't.
Same thing with god.
Now, either put up or shut up.
Comprende?

For the morons out there saying "this isn't a question" it is actually 3.
See those funny squiggly things that look like this (?) that makes a question.
Open your eyes next time.
The reason you flagged it is because you know I'm 100% correct.

Wow, I'm getting threats and inane prattle about driving my car to a field.
Do any of you have anything resembling PROOF or EVIDENCE.
No, of course not. And we both know why. Every post like this only re-enforces my position you know...

The classic "Problem of Evil" proves logically that the benevolent, omniscient god of Christian mythology cannot exist.

No comment as to your opinion.
That said, you are an idiot and your logic is more retarded than the guy I just answered a second ago who thought he disproved evolution thorugh some stinging "Why dont we have rows of teeth," question.
You said that there not being a god is a verifiable fact, you then went on to say there was no evidence there is a god; but you did not provide any evidence demonstrating his absence, you tried to use lack of conclusive proof of existence to demonstrate non-existence. That's retarded.
Then, in a hilarious act of self contradiction, after saying that there not being a god is "verifiable" you ridiculed somene else by pointing out a person cannot prove a negative. That's even more retarded.
And since you were pretending to be a smart scientific, atheist, your fundemental disregard for the rules of logic makes you look 60 times (not an estimate) stupider than the people you mock.

You would not accept proof even were it given to you, because the existence of God is not just a philosophical issue. It comes with all the baggage that you don't want.
If God exists, what does He want from me?
If God exists, why am I here?
God certainly allows tests - the Bible is full of people testing God.
God certainly wants you to "check up" on His promises. He'd be a really impotent "god" if he didn't come through on those.
Unfortunately, He has the requirement that you have Faith to begin with. As the songwriter has written, "If you want Faith, you're going to have to believe a little."
Of course, if I showed YOU this magic milk jug, and allowed inspection, and let you keep testing it, your response would be that it "operates by some scientific principle not yet fully understood."
We both have FAITH, my good man. Yours is just in things of this world, mine is in things of the next.

This can go the other way around. Give me to PROOF that there is no God.
And when you say there is no God, then tell me, who created us? Who created the world, if not God? Can you really believe that a big bang created everything. That's like expecting a puzzle to be put together simply by shaking a box full of the pieces. There's just no proof of evolution or the big bang. Sure, minor changes in species and junk occur. I can believe that. But has science ever SEEN a species turn into another species? No. You too, are relying a lot of faith.
So don't tell me that my ideas have no merit until you yourself can prove that yours have any.

You cannot prove or disprove God using physical evidence nor through proven logical methods.
God is spirit and exists outside of our physical senses. You have to make certain assumptions either in order to do so. Logic and science only deals with the world we can perceive and interact with.
Like:
assuming the bible is the inspired word of God or not...
The only way to prove God exists is by faith. It is by faith you believe.
So for me, given that I believe that the bible is inspired word of God and is true, I can most certainly prove Gods existence.
In order for me to prove it to someone else they would have to agree to the same assumption.
Some christians, and non christians, get all confused when it comes to logical arguments.
So, your question, which is really a disguised statement, is wrong since it is not a verifiable fact. You cannot disprove God's existence using logic or science.
If you can, I'd like to see it myself.

Your logic is inherently flawed. Not saying you're wrong, but the absence of proof is hardly evidence of a false premise. By your reasoning, evolution did not occur until there was evidence that it occurred. At which point it somehow occurred retroactively. And the center of the Earth is not really really hot because no one has actually gone there with a thermometer and measured it.

Evidence for Christianity: Josh McDowell
Case for a Creator: Lee Strobel
Case for Christianity: C.S. Lewis
Christian Ethics: Dr. Norman L. Geisler
I Don't Have Enough Faith To Be An Atheist: Dr. Norman l. Geisler
Case for Faith: Lee Strobel
and you don't have proof that God doesn't exist. "well you can't go find him/see him" You can't see atoms either, do they exist?

The real question is can you prove there is no God!?!
I'm guessing NOT.
And by the way, you were created to bring glory to God (JESUS), and when you experience the love of Jesus, He will replace all that anger and frustration you're showing.
I think that you are obviously passionate about what you believe, and when you start to fulfill your purpose, you will be a powerful witness and do great things for the kingdom of God.
Many Blessing to you!

well then prove to me that there isnt a God, if that is possible. for you to prove to me that there isnt a God you have to acknowledge that there is a God to discredit. why should you care if we worship God anyway? you wont and will not coerce us into changing our minds. you need prayer and i'll do just that. you dont even realize how ignorant you look. not just with this question but with others you have posted and the answers you have given. you are filled with unecessary hate and anger towards christians and it's not even funny. Even if God appeared to you along with Jesus, you will take no proof as of God because you will always back it up with science. God is not science.

I'd just like to add that the universe is not proof, it's also proof of random occurance.
For instance: there is no beginning, in fact the big bang has happened an infinite amount of times, the universe collapses, expands, collapses, expands over and over.
Proof of this is the universe, and the fact that is expanding.
Now is my theory a fact, no, but I have used the universe as proof, but really have proven nothing.
Second the bible is not proof, just like the Da Vinci Code is not proof that Jesus and Mary Magdalene did the horizontal mambo
Third miracles such as recovering from cancer are not proof, lots of bad things happen to people who pray too. Science does not have all the answers, but Christians (or anyone really) have NO proof of God...........none, but a warm fuzzy feeling.
Now having said all that I believe in God, but i believe God is everything, as opposed to a conscious being. Where's my proof, there's everything, that's a fact, at least I'm one step up on you guys.

It is most be escaping your psyche that there are many things in this life we live that cannot be 'proven' yet we believe in and in fact trust in.
It would help also if you truly wanted an intelligent discussion on this topic to be a tad respectful and not refer to God in the manner in which you did.
You succeeded only in lowering opinions of you.
