CLEARLY somethign lacking could be new things ways excitement wearing off plain predicdictable sex but these are a factor - but in reality if a man is a good man with scruples and love and respect he wouldnt do it .. he cheats as the new chicky or partner knows no wrong about it yet so therefore this new person is saying the guy is all that and is just so good etc praising him so he takes it to the next step as the new girly feeds his BIG EGO .. the guys who cheat either had a poor role model or is not able to communicate to the person he is with what is bugging him or his concerns so he does it out of not being a big man also to feed his ego being drunk is no excuse or she hurt me etc is no excuse a real -person has to talk things out or be a big mature person to leave and take things slowly before it gets out of whack. also i read that men will cheat because they are not ready to get married or be so serious so they do it to as they arent ready yet to be so serious and want to know by doing it the act of cheating if they would feel bad guilty etc they ownat to know if it feels still same as being single again. one has to question morals and scruples and trust no matter what so they messed up and need to talk about it. it doesnt mean the person they are with are ugly either.. many guys cheat with less then what they have they just get all this wonderful how nice he is how good he is how cute praising which diminishes after awhile from spouses and should not. the wall of communication is the key. always. ot qall men cheat nor do they need to some men have a hot chik 24/7 of their own its all about what they are feeling and how to make things better or more exciting before they step out but it would be nice if they communicate and ask for things to fill their needs and fantasies.women are more emotional men are more physical they are beasts truly in the animal chain.. see conquer and next .. whereas women are nuturing creatures men spawn their seed we nurture the seed. thats it animal kingdom

We are animals. We just happened to decide to have "morals". That doesn't mean that the natural instincts are not still within all of us.
Women and men both cheat. Watch animals. Most of them are driven by their sexual urges. Basically this was installed for procreation, but we just happen to be some of the few animals who decided it wasn't just for making babies, we also found out how fun it is. That was our downfall.
We, as a culture, try to have morals and try to make ourselves be something we can never be. That is perfect.
Loyalty is a moral trait. But I once heard a man say, "I have never seen a piece of tail worth losing my home and my children for." I found that extremely funny and probably the only thing that can keep some people faithful for the life of their relationship. It isn't that they don't want to cheat - they just don't ever want to take the risk of getting caught!
Cheating is in our genes just as much as our hair color or the color of our eyes. Some people are just able to hold tight to their beliefs or morals and others can't or really don't care. By your tone, I am assuming you have been the victim of cheating. Chear up, unfortunately it is something that happens to most everyone. If his morals are not to your expectations or your liking - you may need to invest in someone who does have those traits.

There can be a few different reasons.
1. They are not getting the amount of sex they need from their current relationship. Sex is more than just physical for men. It is an emotional need.
2. They may be immature and feel the need to conquer.
3. Their woman may be extremely jealous and accuses them, so they figure WTF, might as well.
4. Their relationship is a bad one, where they feel like they can't win (defeated). They may love their partner and not want to leave, but need to feel successful somehow so they go to another woman who will make them feel like they are a king (at least for a little while).
5. They do not have the will power to fight their natural urges. Sheesh sex is everywhere and temptation runs high in our society.
Nothing MAKES them cheat. They CHOOSE to cheat for whatever reason. Women do it too for their own reasons (not me personally).

ive never cheated i ask the same quesyion why do women cheat,almost every woman that i have had a serious relationship with has cheated, ive always been above average in the looks department, also in the other department as well, i have never seccumb to the temptation from women, and there has been an enormous amount, from the ladies in the gym, and other places as well, i would assume that men cheat for the same reasons that women do, they cant handle attention shown from women and cant say no as women cant say no to men, so dont view this as a one way street, id say its a bit of a lopsided view,

I believe men cheat b/c of a lack of respect for the woman they are with. If a marriage/relationship is that unsatisfying; then the man should have the guts to tell the woman he is with; then they can discuss their opition of what to do about it.. Cheating is just the easy way out of confronting the real problem.

Men are people.
People who feel stuck, but they aren;t getting what they need, may fall prey to this ageless crime of the heart.
If we lived in a world in which people recognized that pain in a relationship can lead to affairs outside, they might develop more communication skills and fix things at home.
True, men need to be able to ask for what they need, and that whole emotional dialogue is something MOST men aren't trained to do.
But women cheat about as equally as men do. We're finally admitting that, now that we're supposedly liberated. We're liberated enough to make men look like people, not the AH's that we thought they were.

The reason why men cheat is the same reason women do...for the excitement and sparks that they don't have in their life. Ask you re self did you loose you re spark? Is the excitement still there? They are looking for the same thing a women look for comprehension, understanding and excitement! The forbidden fruit always seems to taste 10x better as well!

He is cheating because he wants to! It has nothing to do with you.
Read, He's Just Not That Into You by Greg Behrendt and it will change your life. This book makes it all clear. Don't accept any excuses as to why he cheats. If he does, then you don't need him. Period!

Nothing makes someone cheat and nothing can keep someone from cheating. If someone is going to cheat there is nothing you can do to stop them. I also believe once a cheater always a cheater find a new man.
