Do it yourself = you're never really sure
Pay someone = you've got an opinion as good as the preparer who is experienced.
What do you do for a living? Do you think you are better at it than me who doesn't have a clue how you do your job? They pay you $$$$, they wouldn't pay me $ to do your job, because I don't know it.
Do you also ask the pharmacy clerk what kind of bandage to buy when you break your arm?
This is the kind of nonsense when I see people that are confused about tax returns trying to do it themselves because it's cheaper.
