Inflammation of the nerve endings. I get it because I am a type 1 diabetic. If you have it, you have my sympathy. It is very painful.

It usually appears in your feet so you cannot walk. Throbs like hell. I find paracetamol helps. Ibuprofen would help, but read label first. No good if you have kidney problems.

Diabetes is usually treated through a combination of diet (low sugar), exercise and medications/insulin. Milder cases can be controlled with just diet an/or exercise while more severe cases require meds or insulin as well.
