I'm 27 and went out on an amazing first date with a 23 year old woman last night. We met for dinner at 6, then went out for drinks and then went to her place to talk and I didn't get home until about 1 am. She's fantastic and when I left she gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. I want to ask her out on another date, but how long should I wait to call her? She's having a friend coming in from out of town tonight that won't be leaving until Saturday and I don't want to disturb her while she has company. I was thinking of calling her today and asking her to lunch on Sunday or Monday. Any thoughts?

I think you should call her and tell her how much you enjoyed last night and ask her out again.

The longer you wait, the more the woman is convinced you're not going to call. If you want the upperhand in things, you can wait until Saturday, but keep in mind for future reference that the best way to set up a second date is while you're still on the first date. (Ex: "So when can I see you again?") That way there is no confusion and no bitter feelings because it "took too long" for you to call and make arrangements. I'd call today. Good luck!

If she told you her "friend" was coming in, she WANTED you to know..Why? Could be the question..maybe it was to say she would be "out-of-pocket", maybe is was to hint about if she doesn't answer your call, she IS interested, don't use it against her, or in the worst case, maybe there is no friend and that was her way of letting you down easy..Unfortunately, I have given a hug and a small kiss to guys I think I do not want to see again, just because I do not want to hurt anyones feelings..I guess, just think about it, and if you still want to, CALL HER! The worst that can happen is she will NOT answer, she WILL answer, but will be busy with her friend, or better yet, she may surprise you and call YOU!!! If you do call, keep it short, say that you just wanted to say "Hi", you had a great time and you'd love to see her again, then let her make the call!! Good luck!

I am 23 and if I were in this woman's situation and if I enjoyed my time with you, I would love for you to call me today and ask me to lunch Sunday or Monday! :) There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. However, if you do decide not to call her today, I would not wait longer than 3 days to call her..... Good luck!

Well, since her friend isn't coming in until tonight, give her a call today. That's smart waiting until Sunday or Monday to see her. If you call her wihile the memories of last night are still fresh in her head, it would be better. Good luck.

don't think you'd be disturbing her if you ask her out now that she has company. I would invite her and her friend to a dinner or whatever you like (only if that friend is a woman) but be sure that she is waiting for you too ask her out again and you can show that you are a gentelmen by taking them both to somewhere memorable so they both remember it and talk about it for a while.

Call her! Tell her you had a great time andleave it open when she would like to go out. Like you wanna have lunch sometime or something. Don't keep her waiting. Give her something to think about and anticipate while her friend is over. Either call her or she might go looking when she goes out with her friend.

Well I would say call her. Every woman is different. Some would say if you call the same night or the next day, you are desperate. But I say, if you like her, go for it. You never know! Good Luck!

Good call, but an afternoon date, after an evening date, I think that sounds like you are trying for more of a friendship. But thats just my personal take on it. Good luck

I would call her today. The sooner you call, in my opinion, is always better. Just let her know that you had a great time and would like to see her again. Leave it up to her if she wants to or not and when. Good Luck!
