If you can get to a shower soon not long. Lactic Acid build up is what makes the muscles sore. This will not be that fun but works.Take hot shower as hot as you can get it to start with about 2-3 minutes, then rotate from hot to cold every minute for 10-15 minutes will flush Acid from muscles. I played baseball for 25 years and did body building for 2 years along with football, soccer, tennis, raquetball. I know sore muscles and a trainer in college taught me this trick. Works but not fun, ALSO if you workout regular eat plenty of bananas of some source of potassium, will help with cramps & sore muscles....

depends how hard you work them. just remember to give them 24-48 hours to rest before working them again. the mucles fibers need to to regenerate thus making them able to do even more work over time.
