You're showing the classic signs of Dehydration. Alcohol does that to you. You need to drink lots of water now to bring your system back. Next time before you go to sleep drink two or three glasses of water before you hit the sack.

If you've really drunk a lot, you may well have alcohol poisoning! Every time you get a hangover it's like a minor version of alcohol poisoning but just sometimes it's the real deal.
It's mainly the chemicals in alcohol that cause the reaction. I've found that if I drink organic beer or wine, I can get just as drunk, but rarely get the hangover the next day.

Too much alcohol causes dehydration. That's why people get sick the next morning. You can alleivate some of the symptoms if you alternate between your drink and water, then before you go to bed drink a big glass of water and 2 aspirin. It has always worked for me when I remembered to do it. ;)

Not being funny or critical but if this happens every time you get drunk-why do you do it? Try to limit the amount you drink but even better would be stop all together. Honestly, you may very well have an allergic reaction to alcohol, my sister does.

if you are drinking the Bud's and Miller's, I have found that they can make me really sick the next day. I am not saying that you can drink a case of Sam Adams and not get sick but those other brewers use cheap grains like corn and rice that I don't use in my homebrew beer. I drink alot of homebrew beer and I don't have a problem getting up @ 5:00am for work the next day.

because your blood has become thin from the alcohol which would cause the swelling and the fever... perhaps you shouldn't drink too much... perhaps you are already experiencing liver problems as well...
