Yikes!
We just can't live in peace anymore.
We're beginning to be as paranoid a society as my mother and father and I, and my friend and her parents.
Geez!
The problem is not just a personal one, although she may be extreme in her expression of society's ills.
See, I have this thing when I substitute teach. I can tolerate noise, cursing, all kinds of things that the bad kids do because they would actually rather be in suspension than try to learn.
But if someone tips their chair, I get calmly upset. Steaming-through-my-nose nice. My son fell out of a diner highchair once, pushing his feet on this ledge under the table. Wasn't a trip to the hospital, but I still get very scared.
I don't flip like this woman though! Maybe it's my meditation classes. No, I get loud when I get an attitude from a high school kid. I lose my cool over something else.
So, anyway,
try to imagine yourself being a teacher, having potential lawsuits against you if you didn't catch signs of a potential suicide, or abuse at home, or god knows what...
you'd see why you eventually would flip over nothing.
Liek you're mad at the world for even making you have to think this way and be wrong all the time, resentful, but there's nothing you can do, so all the stress makes you flip out.
It's still a pain for you to have got through, I totally hear you.

They've got this "victim" mentality . . . if you're a girl, they assume everything you do can be reduced to simply some kind of self-hate induced by the media, and that everything you do to others is in response to some kind of mistreatement (usually from a guy). I know it's a stupid mentality . . . but that's why people like that are in education and not industry -- they can't think for themselves (no offense to the rest of teachers -- I might like to be a math teacher one day if my current career plan does not appeal to me later). Not only that, but she wants to feel better about her occupation if she helps you fight some kind of "demons." Don't lie just to make her feel better though. If it was an accident, keep saying that no matter what.
Your dad should have told your teacher that she was full of it as this certainly sounds like it could have been an accident. Superglue really is difficult to handle sometimes. Don't read too much into what your teacher says. Some of your teachers will be idiots, and some will be wiser than you could ever be at your age. This sounds like someone who's at least partially idiodic (don't treat her like an idiot though . . . treat her with respect but don't give in when she tries to say that you're lying). Personally, I think your accident with the glue reflects MUCH better on you than what your teacher said reflects on her ability to think for herself. Don't fret, they will get over it. Have a nice day!

Report the teacher for not taking your accident seriously. She is just acting mad because, she doesn't want to get in trouble for this happening in her classroom.
