Okay... I really care about my boyfriend, and yes, I've kissed him many times. I little bit a Frenching thrown into the mix as well. I'm 14. He made a promise to me to not go farther than I'm comfortable, and I will never go farther than French kissing at my young age. I don't want to.

Well, I told my younger sister (trying to have a sisterly bond), and she said she wouldn't tell my parents. Well, today she blurted it out to my mom for no reason, right in front of me... and now my mom is all worried and nervous and stuff about him coming over, about me spending time alone with him...

How can I let her know that she doesn't need to be worried? What can I say?

She's met him and everything already. The reason she's scared is because she was a pretty wild kid and she had sex at age 14.

wow, your mom WAS pretty wild! Umm, all I can advice is that you tell your mom to trust you, and tell her you're responsible. Of course, since you're only 14, this would be hard. My brother always said to show her, not just tell her, so you figure it out. By the way, you have very good grammar skills and no spelling errors for a 14 year old. Good job!

You and your boyfriend should go up to your mother and tell her that you both don't want to go any further than kissing! Tell her your entire plan of your relationship. Tell her also not to worry because you don't mean to do anything else!

OK, you know were you stand with your sister.

All you can say is:
"You're worried, I get it. You don't want me to be a certain way, but you also don't want me to point fingers at you. I get it. You're going to have to let me be. You're going to have to trust yourself that you raised me right so far. I'm not going to be little forever, and I will mess up. You've got to let me know that you'll love me anyway. Don't make me test that, Mom. Just let me be. I get it. I got it. Let go. And love me anyway."
