You can download totally free, ad-free PDF Printer solution from http://www.primopdf.com
Install this virtual printer, open the Publisher file, and print it to a PDF using this new "PrimoPDF" printer. Then send the new PDF file to your client. PDF is the safest document format to send to other people via email/Internet due to the following reasons:
Portable Document Format
Free Adobe Reader is fast, easily downloadable and easy to use.
Editing the document is usually not possible, unless end-user has Adobe Acrobat (PDF Editor software)
You can be sure that almost all computers can open it.
It is the choice format for sharing documents over the Internet.
PrimoPDF printer lets you create PDFs from other applications.

Like anything else if it costs $$, some have it and some dont.
Its not a freebie, Microsoft charges for nearly everything.

Also its a troublesome program.
Printers hate the program.
If you are doing something for your own use, and printing it out on your $40 desktop inkjet printer fine.
But, if you are going to send it to a printing company, its nothing but problems.

Make a pdf to send to him, and then he can see it.

No, not everyone has it. I don't have it at home or work. It doesn't come with Office so many people won't invest the money in it unless they need it.
