Chocolate especially dark has many health benefits including lowering blood pressure, providing anti-oxidants, and for many people just the smell of chocolate will release endorphins that can enhance mood.

There are several reasons, first of all it's flavor off course, then it is the most produced sweet in the world, and besides that it is a antidepressant and helps you gain energy very fast. Actually an adequate portion of chocolate can do a lot for your health.

I know. A lot of people just love chocolate. I don't understand why. I mean I like chocolate but I don't love it. My husband loves chocolate. I think it's because it's so fattening and when something is that fattening it drives people crazy and they get obessed over it. It's like telling a teen they can't drink beer being forbidden makes the teen want to do it even more. I think it's like that with chocolate and people. It's bad for you so I think that's why it drives people to it.

You really wanna know? :)
Chocolate causes the body to produce endorphins, that means they feel GOOD after eating it. It's also something very special because the melting point is just below our body's natural temperature, which means it melts nice and slow in our mouths. Quite nice. :)
I'd put more blame on burgers and fries before dissing chocolate.

The problem is not chocolate- it's the sugar and cream that goes with it.
Simple sugars and carbohydrates in processed foods in the absence of the exercise needed to burn it off- makes the fittest athlete fat.

There's an addictive drug in chocolate that imitates an important enkephalin called oxytocin. This wonderful neurotransmitter is released when we are in love, and when we look at our baby's sweet fat little face. It's powerful.

Chocolate doesn't make you fat. Eating too much sugar, chocolates and eating too much junk food and being inactive make you fat.

Chocolate's nice - & I'm not fat. Spotty, perhaps, but not fat. And yes, the PMT craving is bad for me, too.
