There is a guy on here that has been attacking me
for taking it stray litters.. He does not know how I live or how my dogs live alot the questions I ask are for a friend also..To call some one a puppy mill is awful and really hurtful.. if you new me you would be able to ask the people i have placed puppies with.. Thhey come to my home to surrender and to adopt.. Most of the puppies I take in are on the way to the pound I am not a puppy mill front.. I can honestly say that I have never purchase from the same person ... all the dogs i recieve are from people that didnt fix there pet.. I give them a long lecture that most of the puppies will probley end up in and shelter in latter years even if they are place in great homes people die people get devorce things dont work like you want them to... so fix your dogs...I am good with God I have had many poelpe praise me for what I am doing....and just because you take a class at petsmart doesent make you a trainer

I commend you for helping the animals. I don't know you, but in my book you are a much better person than the one who sits on his duff and critisizes everything and everyone.
Keep up the good work, and don't let nasty comments get to you.

I would like to second Shannon and Miriam on this. I went back to read your other questions and see what the fuss was about. Your questions in reference to dogs all make you seem to anyone with a little experience in the dog world to seem like a front for puppy mills and back yard breeders.

Also, if you want to have people take you more seriously try paying closer attention to how you type your questions. Be intelligible, use the spell check (when its working, the blame thing) and think out or at least re-read before posting. Think about 'am I really saying what I want or am I writing half statements and leaving out pertinent details and hoping everyone else can read my mind'.

And, really, in a public forum with little to no accountability why are you expecting every answer to be just sweet and supportive? Regardless of the validity of 'attacks' on you or not there are jerks and know-it-alls and morons in great supply. Expecting too much from a thing like this is just the epitome of silly.

If you are going to participate in public forum like this one you need to stop taking comments personally. The problem is the other person, not you. He is attacking someone because your message happened to be the last message he read. You are right. He doesn't know you. If you fell over him tomorrow at a mall, you wouldn't even recognize this is the person who wrote you. The internet is totally anonymous so losers like him can get away with this kind of behaviour. I'm sure he does the same thing to many people on this board with various subjects. He has nothing better to do so he looks through a hundred messages and spills his own misery on everyone else. It's very sad actually.

You are at peace with what you do and as an animal lover I commend you. Don't let someone negative have any influence on your life. You know the old saying. Take into consideration where it is coming from.

Good answer Miriam! I agree. I don't think the attacks on based on anything other than that! And I don't know that's there's a problem with petsmart's training. Never been there, but I have heard good things! I don't think it hurts for people to recommend methods based on their experiences even if they aren't certified trainers.

This guy is of no consinquence so just ignore him or better yet keep reporting him for abuse and when you click on the flag it will want to know what the offense is one of the things is insulting other users, then tell them how you feel and how this user has insulted you, if it is done enough times hopefully they will ban him from using Answers. Good luck.

1) You are paying for puppies, therefore encouraging their "breeders" to have more
2) You are profiting from selling these puppies. That makes you a broker. An unlicensed one at that, so what you are doing is illegal.
3) Real rescuers often end up spending money out of their own pockets to help the dogs they rescue, without being reimbursed.
4) The fees that real rescues charge are negligilbe compared to their expenses, which is why they have to do so much fund raising.
5) On top of this, by your own admission, you are breeding Bloodhounds and Great Danes.

People like that are not animal lovers so they don't understand the bond we have with animals, they would rather see them starved, euthanized or dead on the street instead of with a person who is "trying" to find a better life for them. I say ignore them and keep up the good work!

Some people are natural downers. They will do anything and everything to pull you down. Especially if you are doing something that they are not doing. I wouldn't take any credence to what that person says unless that person can back up information with facts. Trust me. You are doing a great job! Too bad others are not as good hearted as you.

When you ask a question in a public forum you leave yourself open to it unfortunate but it happens
