You have to insist on it, otherwise he might not ever tell her. This happened to me after I met my BF and it really ticked me off. You sound young, I am 31, he's 34, so this kind of stuff does not fade with age.

I don't know what it was...if he felt good to still be wanted by her or what...it took a couple ultimatums for him to finally tell her to buzz off. She didn't buzz of totally though, and she texted him on Christmas. I threw a fit and told her that if HE didn't tell her off, that *I* was going to. So, he told her to leave him alone, again.

And don't get me wrong - I *know* for sure he does not want her and has not cheated on my with her, but he has a problem "being mean". But, I don't like her invading my personal life via his cell phone all the time!

If your boyfriend wanted the ex to leave him alone he would outright tell her so. Saying that he CAN'T tell her makes absolutely no sense. WON'T tell her is more the truth of it. You'd better watch your heart so that you don't get too hurt when he goes back to her.

Please try to find someone that will be there for you and does not have ties with someone else, My guess is that your boyfriend still has some feelings for his Ex. and does not want to hurt her in any way by mentioning that he has someone else in his life. I know that when you love someone you have all this dreams in sharing his life with you but, you both need to clear the air about the present situation and if he refuses to do it, then tell him that it's you or her to make a choice because you will not be waiting forever for him to decide.

Think about why he refuses to tell her, if it is not something that you think is an acceptable reason, then I say leave him, because it will only hurt you more in the long run, but if you stay and he continues to avoid telling her, then you need to leave because if you are not important enough for him to tell her about then you can't be that important to him.

If he truly cared about you and wanted to be with you he would have told her before now. Maybe he doesn't want her to leave him alone? If he did he should put a stop to her asap! He needs to let her know that their relationship is over and he has moved on.

He can tell her anything he chooses to tell her. He has chosen not to tell her. It's not that he "can't" it's that he won't. Nothing you can do but find a guy who isn't two-timing you.
It's not her- it's HIM who is causing the problem.

He has to make the decision on his own. If you tell him what to do - he will only blame you later. Just tell him your thoughts on it- but dont give him an ultimatum(sp?). My question to you... can you live with that in your life? Are you ok with it? its your choice...

Sorry, he hasn't told her for a reason. Think about it, then call me when he goes back to her.
