To help me learn a foreign language, I would like to use a high quality pen recorder with the best possible sound reproduction. When I'm talking to people, the pen could record everything so I can play it back later and learn the language much faster. I also thought about getting a wrist watch recorder. They seem to be of a bit higher caliber.

Does anyone know of any specific one I could get? I went on a couple websites, but it is hard to know what is good merchandise and what is dime store crap.

I have an OLYMPUS Digital Voice Recorder WS-3420M that I purchased mainly to transfer data from my old computer to my new one. I use it occasionally to record ambient sounds, music, my grandson's gurgles, etc. You can download your recordings to your computer and make a data file of info for your language learning.
I find it very useful. Small enough to carry around in your shirt pocket.
