What does it mean if a guy said he did not want children, and is now naming the children you are going to have.. Please dont say just ask him, because I do not want him to feel pressure either way. When the time is right, I will ask him, but for now I just want opinions.
In the begining he felt really strongly about not having children. He has since then made quite a few comments about children.

Just for the people putting him down. He is a great guy with many goals. We have a great relationship! I have a child already and having another either way is fine with me.

I went through this exact situation with my boyfriend of two years. He blatently told me that he did not want children when we first got together. He has since changed his mind. In my opinion, your man has changed his also, and does not know how to come out and tell you. I believe he is suggesting names to give you a hint.

having a baby can make a man with an ice heart melt people say a lot of things and some times don't realize what they are saying maybe he finally saw how wonderful having a baby can be so just let him pick names until you both find one you like and involve him more i bet that is all he really wants .

Maybe he had never really though of having kids before and now he's changing his mind. It's possible. I wouldn't ask, though - you're right - he might feel you are pressuring him. Besides, if you aren't married to him, why mention it? Let him make the commitment to you and your relationship before thinking about kids!

Maybe he doesn't plan to be in a long term relationship with you, and he's naming your children, not his.....Do you want to trust someone who isn't up front with you???? Maybe he's trying to give you false hope so you'll stay with him even though he doesn't have the same goals you do, or maybe he's just not ready for them now...Just don't waste your life with some guy that doesn't have the same goals as you do, will just lead to resentment later...

He may be trying to not pressure you you after all are the one ahving the kid not him so try asking him if he wants children because he probably dose.
