australia canyon see stars in day?

I heard there is a canyon in australia with walls so steep and narrow that it blocks the reflected light in our sky so you can see starts in the day. Any details on this? Name of canyon?

I've bin everywhere man and never had that experience. The only places i have seen stars in the day is from a deep mineshaft in Kalgoorlie Western Australia. Even Kings Canyon in the Northern territory doesn't have that feature unless you have hit your head or drunk too much of that fine beer.

sorry mate im born and bred in oz and ive never heard of such a place,this does'nt mean its not out there.
