Looks and teeth are initially important. Teeth basically plays into the looks.... you could be super hot, but if you have snaggle tooth happening it dampens your hotness. Sorry if that seems superficial, but a smile is the FIRST thing I notice, then eyes. I do agree with the other answer, personality is really important too. I think looks are what gets people to approach someone or become interested in someone right off the bat, but if the personality isn't there it doesn't matter.
As Slightly Stoopid so brilliantly put it "Cuz if you're ugly on the outside, it don't matter if your beauty on the inside it overpowers. If the beauty on the outside it won't matter, if you're ugly on the inside, baby don't want it" - song: Everything You Need It is just so true and fitting

I tell my daughters that teeth are important, you don't want to roll over and see decaying teeth and the bad smell that comes with decaying teeth first thing in the morning. A person should take pride in both their appearance and their teeth. To decide if a person is attractive is based on what each individual person finds attractive and there are no set guidelines. A person's teeth doesn't make that person but you should want someone that will take care of themselves (and that includes their mouth.) Point is, no looks and teeth are not what is important, cleanliness IS.

Oh my god, I am sooo obsessed with teeth, probably WAY more than looks. They kinda are important and it depends on the person's preference. But that doesnt mean that if a cute straight toothed asshole with a jacked up attitude comes along, i'm gonna fall for him!

Of course they are - if there is no mutual attraction there will be nothing more than a casual friendship. If you are missing teeth that mean poor hygiene . . . and nasty crooked teeth is a turn off too because it does change your looks. A few slightly crooked or gaps are not an issues . . .

I guess they are, because no one wants to be with an unattractive person. Teeth are important because that's a part of personal hygiene. If a guy doesn't take care of himself, that's not good.

Looks are the most important thing in life. I have a big nose, a skinny face, a long neck and balding and women don't like me because I AM UGLY, no matter how nice I am or how great my personality.

They are important, and I don't mean to sound shallow. I think you have to be attracted to somebody physically first to allow yourself to be attracted to their personality later.
Saying that, I feel in love with my own girlfriend's personality first and then her looks. She's beautiful generally, but it actually took me a while to realise it. Now nobody compares.
Oh, and teeth - they have to be relatively nice. Your lips have to go there, remember.

I will NOT get a boyfreind with crooked teeth. No gaps, no double teeth, no yellow teeth. some girls dont mind but I can fall in love with a smile. my dream is straight pearly whites with dimples.
