there is very little response from my achilles teondons when my Dr. did a reflex test.

The previous person is right... there is no connection from the lower back to the achillies. The achilies is where your calf muscles attach.

The reflex test tests the nerves that supply these muscles. The nerves (Tibial Nerve) travels from the vertebra to the muscles. The nerve roots are the L5 and S1 from the lumber and sacral vertebra in the lower back.

Your Achilles tendon is NOT connected to your lower back. It's in your leg only. It's connecting the tendons of the calf muscles to the heel bone.
