If this was a homework question, some of the answers are right. If you want to know the volume of a nominal 2" pipe,you have to know the kind of pipe it is. Schedules 5, 10 and 40 pipe all have the same outside diameter, but different inside diameters. You might even find a class of 2" pipe that has a 2" inside diameter.

The pipe is a geometric cylinder. If its a 2" pipe the diameter is 2" which means the radius is 1". Volume of cylinder is Pi * r * r * h. Height is 12" since you wish to calcuate water volume per foot.
So, 3.14 * 1 * 1 * 12 = 37.86 cubic inches. The rest should be easy....

Pi * 1" * 1" * 12" = 37.699 cubic inches/foot of pipe
There are (12 in)^3 in 1 ft^3
This converts to 0.022 cubic feet. There are 7.48 gallons in 1 cubic foot.
