In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful,
Yes, as a true-believer of Islamic Monotheism, we must believe in the Qu'ran as the literal word of God (which was in Arabic, translations no longer retain this status). You must understand the Qu'ran literally, and not try to ascribe some hidden meaning, doing so is part of the astray Sect of Sufism. You must realize that Islam and its law system are a complete way of life, and that verses taken out of context (the usual ones by Islamophobes are the ones about the battles against the Pagan Idolaters)
Please read this religious verdict from a Scholar of Islamic Jurisprudence, explaining why Terrorism and Suicide Bombing are FORBBIDEN. You should also know the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia has issued a verdict as well that Al-Qaeda and its supporters are Criminals.

If you have any specific verses you need some explanation on, I will try my best to clear up your misconceptions with the help of the All-Knowing.
Peace Be With You

Fear God, you criticizers of the Holy Quran. Remember, the Day of the Judgement. Your repentance then, will be of no use, so ask for forgiveness from God. What is in bible? Has anyone ever been able to learn the whole bible byheart? no. But the Quran is in the hearts of the muslims, and there have been thousands of muslims who have learnt the Quran byheart. Quran is the only Holy Book which could be byhearted, none other. Coz, this was the original message of God the almighty. God helps those who ask his help. I pity you criticizers.

Quran is our truth, we live our live according the teaching of Quran and examples of Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him), the words make sense to the believers, and it doesn make any sense to whom Allah has put a veiled in their hearts, they will not understand, but we don take things like "Allah's hands" literally, cause that s attributing human feature to Allah, and Allah is perfection, cannot be describe by our limited langaugage and comprehended by our limited mind, so to ur question, yes and no.

Sure the actual Quran is fine. Have you read the real thing? Or have you read the writings and footnotes by the "scholars" that have been attached to it?
