I myself am a scientist and a creationist

i'm sure there will be a number of atheist answer too so for you guys I'll leave this
- the fosil record does not prove it - lots and lots of gaps and not one "missing link" fosil has ever been found
- DNA homolgy does not prove it - this only tells us that similar functioning parts are made from a similar blue print not that one must have come from another
- Embryogensis doesnt prove it - those picture you might have seen in Bio 101 text books that show we all develop the same in utero but then only at the end we change - was shown to be false only a few years later - btw that was done in the 1890s
- Early atmopheric science doesnt prove it - the experiment you probably remember from the 1950s - where someone "made" amino acids from a "supe" was shown only 10 years later that the atmosphere used was most likely wrong - nobody in that field today believes that was a correct assumption of early earths atomosphere

1. the assumption that man evolved from Homo Erectus and Neanderthals, etc is in the process of being debunked. It turns out the groups inhabited the planet at the same time

2. there is no missing link found. I will reevaluate my statements when it is found.

3. the Old Testament speaks of humanoid creatures that existed at the same time as man (the nephalim)

4. Darwin used the origin of the species to determine that blacks, natives and other populations were less evolved humans. Instead they are groups of people who adapted differently to various climates.

with that said, i do believe there is some evolution. I believe as time passes, things grow and change. bacteria evolves into different resistant strains. Humans grow taller and hair color and eye color become genetically weeded out to suit populations. So I'm (a) not a christian and (b) a believer of both. I have a feeling science is just going to prove the existence of a G-d that is not like we imagine.

Isn't it funny how the atheists denounce the words of creationist scientists, but will wholeheartedly believe the words of evolutionist scientists. Are they just blindly believing what they are reading and being told by just those scientists who don't believe in God? Looks and sounds like a double standard to me.
Just remember this. There are always at least 2 sides to every story. To dismiss one side on the simple basis that it doesn't mirror your own thoughts and ideas doesn't make it a false claim.
I,too,am a creationist, but I have not closed my mind completely to CERTAIN aspects of evolution, but atheists have tightly shut their minds to any ideas that may include God.If they would be honest, they would admit it is because they don't WANT God involved. It's as simple as that.
Evolution is a theory full of suppositions and assumptions that are constantly changing to mirror the views of its believers, but God's Word never changes. The real truth is right there for all to see,and science is just making it more difficult and more confusing than it needs to be, in other words, making a mountain out of a molehill.

Being a scientist does not make you intelligent, there are some pretty dumb scientists out there. A lab technician is also a scientist.

The most distinguished scientists do not believe in god.
