If it wasn't Canada's war to fight, who's war was it ? Some Muslim groups plan to take over anything not Muslim, that includes Canada.
America, Canada, England, and a few others know that the concern is world wide. The entire world should hop in and show the Muslims that they better keep to their own land.
Most countries are cowardly, and leave the fighting to others. If all nations united against the spread of Islam, it would have given them a different picture. Now they know that some countries will let them do whatever they care to , just to avoid a fight.
Remember, there are things worse than war. Loosing your freedom, your way of life, cowering under a foreign fist, without lifting a finger to stop it, is what you deserve if you refuse to fight for your rights.

First of all, with the significant exception of JTF2 and troops on exchange with allied units, Canadian Ground troops were not a part of Desert Storm or Desert Shield. There were naval, MASH, Engineer, air support however.
The push into Iraq after 9/11 was not supported by Canadian Troops or by the Canadian Government.
Canada does have troops in Afganistan but not in Iraq.
