Is there a place on my yahoo toolbar to click for Activex control?

Active X is just an utility...it is not a software like..u cannot work on it...but it has its own vulnerability...if u get a Active x bar in ur IE just right click and select ur preferred option..GUD LUCK..

I am not sure what exactly you downloaded,but I can tell you this..
ActiveX controls or components have to be imported to some kinda of programming IDE..eg
C# IDE...but if you are talking about 'plug-in's' for I.E or Firefox,
you can enable them by check out the properties and going to the Programs tab,there should be an option called manage addons
click on it and select that addon

Active X controls are not somethin you really need to use....active x controls are programs made to be used on a web page. for example macromedia flash player lets you see animations and crap in a web page.....those ads you see about hit the flying monkey or shoot something are flash animations that use the flash active x control....other controls like the msn chat window, microsoft upload component and some parts of web spy software and other things use these types of controls...if you got a message about having to download an active x control you need to find out which company to go to. also if you got that in a security popup at the top of your browser then you may want to verify the site before letting the control install...

No there isnt. Active x is only a requirement needed by certain software products. It's not something that you will be able to use like yahoo.
