Good protein sources are the following:
eggs, milk, soy milk, tofu, low fat yogurt, meats, fish and cheese.

I look on this site for health information also: http://health.divinfo.com/ You could search for protein information here or links to companies that sell high protein shakes and foods, which could be another option for you. Good luck!

Eggs are the best. Before this I used expensive whey protein from GNC but did not see any substantial change. Right after I started eating eggs, I can see that my muscle is getting bigger noticeably and dramatically. Now I do about 50 push ups a day and the muscle is definitely growing. So perhaps you can try the same. Protein from eggs has the highest biological value and it also contans all the nutrition you need such as Omega-3 which is extremely useful in buidling the brain while vitamin B12 is necessary in normal metabolism and fat burning. Don't worry about the cholesterol and fat because if you take more protein, they eventually become High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) which is the good cholesterol.

soy (complete), nuts and bread (blended complete), legumes and rice (blended complete), dairy (regardless of the indisputable fact that it has countless energy - even a a million cup serving of skim has ninety energy, so I frequently have a calcium supplement or broc and get my protein elsewhere) - protein bars and shakes (esp. whey protein, solid in case you raise) hummous is tasty yet is loaded with energy and fat - try mustard as a change - Joanna keyword is two tablespoons. If one slice of bread with hummous is your dinner then ok. If meat grosses you out yet this isn't a religious problem, try fish - I eat sardines - Omega 3, calcium and protein. Or eggs.

I personally eat eggs for protein, and lean meat and fish is a good source also.

keep track of what you eat during a day....most people think they eat too much but then when they look at it its the bare minimum....if you want to put on weight aim for 3500-4000 calories a day from clean food

up your food intake....lots of carb earlier on in the day...by which I mean fruits/veggies (real) oatmeal not the processed kind and lots of protein later on such as eggs....meats and whatnot

eggs are the best, but watch out because they are high in cholesterol, limit to 3-5 per week.

otherwise, fish, meats, PB, soy...etc...
