Can anybody give me any contact names and numbers or web addresses or anything regarding any volunteer centres in Port Elizabeth? Or if you know how to get involved in looking or visiting elderly people in old people's homes maybe? Please, thank you!

I can only guide you, as I don't know about South Africa.

1. Even if old people's homes are provided solely by the voluntary and/or private sectors, one of the layers of government should know about them (possibly to inspect), and could advise on volunteering opportunities.
