Hitler was said to be 1/4 Jewish. His mother was said to be of Jewish ancestry.

Hitler was not Jewish. Check out the book "Hitler Among the Germans" by Rudolph Binion, it gives a really good account of Hitler before and during his rise to power.

No, he wasn't. It is not certain who his grandfather was and this caused rumors that he might have been Jewish, but it's probably not true.

Surely not. I don't know and frankly don't care. He was evil, no matter what religion he was. Surely he wouldn't have tried to wipe out the Jews if he were Jewish himself.
All I know is that he was German.

No. it was rumored that perhaps his father had been part Jewish, but it was proved false. & even if it was true he still would not be a Jew because his mother wasn't.

I have heard one of his grandperants were JEwish but believe he was more catholic but which ever way he believed he gave in to the evil one.
