I think you already know the answer to that question. But maybe you just need some clarification.

You are being taken advantage of if you do not kick him out. Better yet, I will come at you this way. If you dont kick him out and you continue to date this lazy loser, and when he finishes getting everything he can out of you but then finds someone else to mooch off of, then there is no reason for you to get mad or upset with him at all. You are allowing this to happen to yourself if you dont take action. So think of it that way. Why be used when you have total control of the situation? You have been notified babe so the next move is yours.

I cant believe your asking this question.... of course the answer is yes!!! I was in a similar relationship where my other half didn't want to work or even look for a job and I did all the working and bill paying. In the long run you will be better off with out him.
Good Luck!!

only if he is unable to pay the bills. believe me, just because someone is working doesn't mean they will be able to pay bills. i had a roommate a few years back who worked and had a $20,000 bond (that would mature in about three years from then) from his grandfather waiting for him. He decided he didn't want to wait another three years for the bond to mature, so he sold it for $10,000 so he could go out and buy a $1200 HD TV, which essentially means he paid $11,200 for a TV. That money didn't last any time at all, because within three months he was overdrawing several hundred dollars a month from his bank account and not paying his bills.
whereas I did not have a job, and paid all of my bills, in full, on time. so check with his previous roommates if he has any and see what his history is with timely payments.
also, if he uses any kind of drugs (doesn't have to be an addict) regularly, he is about 417 billion times less likely to pay on time, so keep that in mind. i had my power turned off ever month because my pothead roommate and my $12,000 tv roommate (he refused to allow anyone else to handle the bill payments because he was the only one 'responsible' enough) would take my check for the utilities and just stick it somewhere and wait until the power got cut off. then they'd have the nerve to ask me for 1/3 of the late fee! i always refused. so if you're ever stuck with a late fee because of your roommate, don't pay it.

Remind him that he's lucky he lives in America.
There are unemployed men in Iraq who, everyday, get up, walk to a popular corner or square, and stand there, waiting for someone to offer them work. These men are risking their lives to find work, just for one day. They are the new favorite targets of the terrorists there, who are trying to create dissent amongst the populace. There were many killed in a blast last month where, a man driving a truck pulled up to a crowded square, advertised that he needed workers for the day, then the entire truck exploded.

People who don't want to work are in a viscious cycle and have no self esteem. Kick his butt and tell him to get out there. It's for his own good really.
