Oh my, if I dropped everything on the basis that a majority or minority are something I perceive to be lacking some ethical or moral standard I wouldn't do ANYTHING! Michael Roach calls himself a Buddhist monk, but he's not anymore, by Buddhist standards, but I'm still Buddhist. You can't not do something or not do anything based on PEOPLE's failure to do what they claim they are, especially in religion.
Oh and btw people who CALL themselves "Christians" bomb federal buildings, clinics, whole areas to kill off a few idiots (and usually miss while killing innocent civilians the idiots who call themselves "Muslim" use as shields, one bombed the Olympics in GA,... please. I think you should educate before you pass judgement on anything, because right now you're looking at things all wrong.

The Muslim religion was indeed the justification for the 9/11 attacks, but Christendom used their religion as the primary motive to engage in the Crusades (contrary to popular belief, Crusades did not generate vast sums of money through 'looting') They caused thousands more deaths that those terrorist attacks.
You don't need to rely on blind faith, neither should you want to. It was Martin Luther who said that "faith tramples underfoot all logic, reason and understanding," a maxim that essentially teaches that the evaluation of evidence and use of reason is not required to come to a conclusion.
This is quite simply ridiculous. If we believed this, then we'd still think that the Sun was drawn by a chariot across the sky, or that there is some magical force that controls the weather. Yes - you can tell me that there are many things that science cannot explain, but it is far nobler to accept that there are things we do not yet understand than to say "God did it by magic." Every day we discover more, learn more - the challenge is not being good to reach some fluffy kingdom in the sky. If we want to find a better world, we have to make it here. We have to use our knowledge and expertise to reduce suffering, prosper and love one another.
Clearly having no beliefs is bad, but selecting something friendly-sounding one which can ensure you eternal life (despite this idea being incompatible with modern science and totally irrational) is not only selfish, but it's restricting and unrealistic. At least if we accept that, unfortunately, there is no guiding light above us, that there are no moral absolutes and that we came here through the astounding and truly awe-inspiring process of evolution, then we can start putting our newly acquired knowledge to use - to help reduce suffering and further knowledge.

Many things you say about us Muslims are true -may God help us all - but a person who converts to islam believes in Islam not in Muslims - and the Quran commands us to speak the truth even against our own selves, families etc -islam
Confusing the wrong forbidden things that adheresnts of a religion do with the teachings of their religion is simple-mindedness and you dont strike me as being that at all
BTW Christians have and still do commit mass atrocities - the WTC is not the only or even the worse thing that has happened in history- it wasnt even the biggest atrocity in the year 2001 !

The fact that very few practice what they preach is secondary.
If a majority of people, who followed a course in plumbing, all turned out to be terrible plumbers, would you automatically assume the problem lay with the course?
With the teacher?
OR
Would you grant the possibility that, just maybe, the students didn't take things seriously enough and that there is really nothing wrong with the course?
Judge Christianity by what it really teaches, not by its supposed members.

persons are changing returned and forth plenty precise now in North united states of america of america. Muslims who've had an entire life of no determination are seeing a decision and a few are changing. Christians who've been stated interior the religion are encountering Islam and, for some, it speaks greater relatively to them. Even an excellent sort of pagan religions are seeing new recruits. that's inevitable, once you think of of it. I trust the advice that your chum ought to stick to his heart, yet he ought to sit down down with a clergyman first and ask the priest the questions.

The biggest misconception about Christians is that we are somehow supposed to be perfect.
We are human and humans will fail. We try to live right, and when we fall, we repent for our sins.
But very few will ever achieve Sainthood (perfection) on earth.
That is why Jesus brought us the tools (sacraments) to keep us in the Grace of God even though we are weak. Using the tools our relationship with God grows and we become better people.
Peace!

Your choice of a religious path should not be dictated by how well the followers adhere to the religious guidelines, but what you believe. In other words, what does it say of you that you chose a particular path simply because of how you perceived the others that follow that same path? You either believe what Jesus said or you don't. If you do believe, you will act in accordance, if you don't believe...you will disregard what He has said. All people, no matter what they do or don't believe in, live out their beliefs.

If you're not convinced by neither of them, don't convert at all,,, simple
Every religion follower is free to do what he/she wants. Only God has the right to judge him/her, not you, not me, not anyone else...Got it?
And how can you be so sure that Muslims were the ones behind the 9-11 attacks? Just because your poisned media said so?
I suggest you do some research on the subject; there are other theories you might want to take a look at

When you think you have a point, don't whine about it. You're not forced to believe in anything at all. Not by the people on this site anyway. And though I also would advise against 'having faith', what bothers me in equal measure is agnosticism fast becoming synonomous for the sort of stupidity you put on display.
Oops, you're the same guy. I should have noticed, but I am indeed taking my liberty not to give a toss :P

big generalistion's there..................
do a little search on the internet to find out how christians are treated in islamic countries, the fact that muslims turn a blind eye to this, but moan if someone looks at them strangely in the UK seems to annoy some christians.
the fact is that the muslims extremists ARE following Islam to the letter.
