This is actually something I began to think about after having identical twin girls. Because of the way they formed, I know that my egg split somewhere between 4-8 days after conception. So, if the soul is implanted at the moment of conception, does that mean they are sharing a soul? Definitely not so... they are two completely different people, so if there is such a thing as a soul, they have their own. I tend to think if it does exist, it's something that develops over time....

Just for laughs, I posted a similar question regarding the souls of Chimeras - people who are born containing two DNAs because their body enveloped the body of their sibling while developing inside the womb. Want to know how the Christians answered?
My question was deleted for "Not a Question or an Answer."
Thats what happens when you ask them a question too difficult to respond to. Hope it doesnt happen with yours....

Like all religious questions the simplest answer is the best, the 'soul' does not exist.
