Letting your children listen to country music leads them to have a more open opinion of music and life in general... Most country music is Not vulgar.... I have found that kids that don't listen to country music when they are young, and just listen to everything else, Don't even bother with Country..... So, my real advice would be "If it doesn't have an explicit lyrics label on it, let them listen"

It never occurred to me to listen to country music, so my kids didn't listen to it as children (and don't listen to it now that they're grown). The only time I've ever run into it is occasionally is some country singer shows up for one performance on a television show.
Believe it or not - I didn't really know country music can be vulgar.
My main point is that a person can live life quite well without ever being exposed to country music. If there's something about it you think may not be appropriate for your children don't have it on when they're present.

Yes I do but I wouldn't allow them to listen to rap. That is vulgar and disrespectful to women.
