Each city has a suicide prevention line which I encourage you to call, they will have good resources for you, call 411 to get the no. You need to talk to your doc or a mental health professional (counselor/therapist). You need to keep looking until you find someone, who can help you. Sometimes there is a chemical imbalance in the brain which can be helped by taking a short term medication. In the mean time talk with your family, friends or clergy, someone who can be there for you. We're all searching for meaning in our life. You're being bombarded with a lot of different feelings, remember feelings change all the time.
Hang in there. :)

Hi Scared and lonely,

I am 46 years old and have felt the same way many times. When I got divorced 2 years ago I felt the same way as you are describing. I want to say that things got better for me and I am sure they will get better for you too! Life comes in cycles. I think a lot of help came from God. I say this becomes I beleive that God wants us to be happy and have enjoyable lifes. I prayed a lot to God after my divorce and I met a wonderful woman and things are so much better now. I am a Christian so when I say God, I mean Jesus. But to be 100 percent honest I had to take a step too. I started going to a bible based Church and trying to meet folks to talk to. Maybe a Pastor can help console you and direct you to someone in the church that can listen without judgeing you and can be your friend. I also joined match.com and thats how I ended up meeting my wonderful girlfriend. Sometimes people have to take a step to try to make their lifes better. Right now I am getting involved with a hobby called HAM radio and am joining a club to meet people. I am not that outgoing, but I try to make contacts and sometimes find cool people to talk to. Things are going to get better. Oh yeah, also, turn off the TV News and listen to some Mozart or something cheery. The news is really depressing lately!
I fogot to say. I am also seeing a Dr. For a sleep disorder that makes me tired. I am getting help on this and I feel so much better. So maybe you can also check in with a Dr. too if you don't have some sort of chemical imbalance or something physically wrong with you. Thanks!

Life is cruel,we look around and everywhere there is violence and violence.Sometimes God sends us tests, and if we are weak,we fall, and we make mistakes. But God also helps us when we need him.Sometimes we feel lonely, mad and afraid, but we can't sit and wait for a miracle,we have to do something about it.Get some help, you'll see everything will work out fine, look also for a hobby that will keep you busy on those hard days, but please don't hurt yourself, that's not the way out.Take Care!

IF YOUR REALLY LOOKING FOR ANSWERS AND WANT A CHANGE PRAY THIS PRAYER FROM YOUR HEART. Lord Jesus I believe you are the son of God and I believe that you died for me and rose on the third day. I ask you now to forgive me of all my sins wash me of my sins COME INTO MY HEART and teach me to walk in your path. Lord I give you permission now to have your way with me let your will be done in my life. In Jesus name I pray. Amen! Now make sure to go to a bible believing holy spirit filled church who believe in the whole God inspired Bible. Attend the church every time it is open. Pray daily and always read your Bible. May JESUS (God) Bless You and I look forward to seeing you in Heaven when JESUS comes again.

get a dog

you just need someone in your life to check you back to reality - lacking a person, a dog (or a cat) that can actively move around the house is a good option - you'll have something that depends on you for survival, and it will actually help with many of the problems that you listed

Don't commit suicide. Life is to be enjoyed not for all the pain you are going through. Talk to anyone you can trust about your feelings and why you are feeling this way. There are people who will listen to you and will help you. A friend, a relative, anyone who you can cry on their shoulder. Talk it through with anyone who will listen, but remember your life is precious and you are precious too

I don't know what to tell you... just.... DO NOT GO SEE A PSYCHIATRIST. They will completely ruin your life. They will tell you that you are sick.... they will probably say that you have borderline personality disorder or bipolar and they will want to keep you on brain damaging pills for the rest of your life.
