I prefer to give but it all depends on the person you are with in the relationship and how appreciative they are. My last boyfriend was a big time taker. Eventually I got emotionally and physically exhausted and ended the relationship. I heard that he died a few years ago (died of lung cancer). My only regret is that I wish I ended the relationship a lot sooner than I did.

For a successfull relatinship its a give and take issue, im a giver but at times its a good thing to get in return, so both know that the spark is still there. It cant be a one sided relationship, in all aspects.

The giving and taking in the relationship should be pretty much even between you two if its not suggest a day about just you or that he could be a little sweeter it all depends.

Giving and receiving = balance in the relationship any other way is a recipe for a disaster.

There must be balance.
Give and Take.
I have always been a giver. . .so when I find the right person I'm sure he will reciprocate with the same enthusiam to please that I
show him.
Or her for that matter. . .the same goes for friendship.
I'm a lover. . .it's just who I am.
