Ok, my boyfriend and I have been together for about 31/2 years...not too long ago him and some buddies of his went to a fully nude strip club. This was my boyfriends first time at a strip club and he got a lap dance, he told me that he felt like a total pervert and he doesnt plan to go back anytime soon.. is it silly of me to feel insecure when we are being physical together? After he paid some stranger $25 dollars to dance on him, It makes me feel inadequet. Im not overweight and I get compliments from guys a lot, but for some reason I can't get over this...any advice??

He is a guy....would it be any different if you went to a male strip club and you got some greased up guy rubbing all over you? If he doesn't plan on going back again then you know he really didn't like it and it was just one of thoes things. I wouldn't stress out about it. most strippers are gross anyways.

I went to a strip club with my guy and some of his friends once and it really is no big deal. He probably didn't want to spend money on a lap dance but when guys are out with each other they feel pressured to impress each other. It really is all good fun and the only difference between a regular club and strip club is there are naked girls walking around (but nowadays you'd probably see that at a regular club, too). I wouldn't think too much about it but if you're feeling like you just don't do it for him anymore, you might want to sit down with him and express how you feel....then go from there.

It's easy to understand why you feel inadequate but don't let it steal your confidence. Don't take it personal that your boyfriend went to this club. It seems he went there because all his other friends were going and he didn't want to look like the odd one out. How about doing something special for yourself which reminds you of just how good you are as a person and how good you look like maybe going out with a girlfriend to treat yourself to a manicure, a new hairstyle or maybe a new outfit that accentuates your figure. Do stuff that will build your confidence up. The more confident you are the more silly your boyfriend will feel for going to pay a stranger when he has a good looking, confident girlfriend at home.

i think if it is bothering you so much you should talk to him 3 1/2 years is a long time to throw away over something like this .. and if you still feel that insecure about it maybe you guys should go see a couples theripist because i know how hard it is to feel insecure about something .... i think also try not to make a big deal out of it .. all guys see other woman naked and alot of them are happy when they go home and know they have a real woman at home and not some tramp or something else that i won' t say on here but i also think that guys should respect the woman they are with and not go to places like that ... i am wishing you all the best and good luck

Ive dated a girl who worked as a stripper, and what she says is its like "acting" so neither of them had emotions for each other. Some guys think that the girl who is stripping for them is interested in them. Personally I think the whole thing is rather disgusting so if I were you I wouldnt worry about it, its just a stupid mistake on his part it doesnt reflect on you at all.
Strippers are nobodys girl, and everybodys girl its not like there was any attatchment.

Let it go. I mean he said he is not going to do it anymore. He is not choosing a lap dance over you. He experienced it, did not like it end of story. A lot of guys like that fantasy and experience it. Does not mean he loves you any less. Remember, that stripper dances for any man that gives her money, you think he would rather have that than you...

It was just a lap dance .He told you he didn't like it so don't let it bug you. I personaly see nothing wrong with it took my boyfriend to the club and paid for the dance myself on his birthday .

Like the others said....as long as he didn't cheat on you and doen't go to often, it's ok. Tell him since he had a lap dance from a girl, you want one......from him ;).

Unless your boy is the type to go out and try and pick up a stripper, let it go. He comes home to you, so you hold something very particular that NO stripper can compete with
