Does anyone maybe have any tips to help it work?

What I think is it can work but you just have to work at it and try to talk to them and if you cant talk to them that much right now they just have to understand and wait for you to settle down. just try and talk to that person as often as you can. i hope it works out for you if you do have a long distance relationship.

Of course they do. If y'all love eachother, then it shouldn't be too much a an issue. You just gotta get past the trust issues and spend as much time as possible together. My fiancée and I have been apart for about five months. She lives in NY. I live in VA. That's over a 300 mile distance, but we try avoiding things that'll furhter us apart, such as: getting in to fights over stupid crap like trust issues. We're apart for another 6 months til we can live together and be completely happy. But yeah, we do get some satisfaction by being able to see eachother on weekends. Whenever she can come down, she does. Whenever I can go up, I do. We both have to make sacrifices, but that's a huge part of the long distance ordeal: must be willing to make sacrifices for the relationship to work.
Great communication is a plus in the relationship. Talkin nightly and reassuring them that you love em might help to seal your bond. Umm... Do things worth remembering if you guys ever do get to hang out or w/e. Take beautiful strolls in Central Park, or somewhere romantic like that; go bowling, my fiancée loved it- after every successful or unsuccessful throw down the alley, I'd hug her and be like "good job =]" or kiss or something, and she LOVED it and likewise.

Yes it works.It depends on the two parties!The key to it is Trust and Believing in yourselves,but you need to be very strong to over come temptations and gossips from "friends" I have a long distance relation which is three years old and still kicking fine thou we have problems from time to time which is normal (but not becos of the distance)
