what would have happened if he didn't? Would those who now believe in him regarded him as a fake? Would there been writings about what he did right other than that failure? Would there had been another religion instead of Christianity?

If there was no resurrection then we have no hope. According to Paul, "we are to be pitied above all men." There is a huge gap in Christianity without the resurrection. Who would worship a God that came to save His people and died? Who worship a dead deity? What would be the point? So no resurrection no point to Christianity.

If Jesus did not rise from the dead, we would be almost entirely Atheist. The other religions didn't have people rise from the dead so their not to believable either. There would be no Christianity because His rising is the foundation for our belief.

If Christ was not God then man would be left to live according to law which he had already proved impossible therfore man would die and perish apart for God. Jesus overcame sin and died to pay the peanlty of death for all who accept his atonement without that penalty being paid we are all dead in our sin.

If Jesus did not rise from the grave; it may demonstrate that Satan's deceit of death, is stronger than Jesus's power of giving life. (It may also bring into question other statements Jesus made while here on earth (Mathew-John).

hi
there is a big difference in being the son of god and being a prophet.
jesus was not the son of god he was the messenger of god and he was not crucified it was made for them to see but he was risen up to heaven alive.and speaking of true religion islam is the true way of life which promotes peace and justice for all.if you were to seperate crucifiction ( cruci - fiction) the word itself gives it away its a fiction.
jesus (isa) was the prophet of allah not son.neither was he crucified.

I think if he didn't they'd take out the part of the bible where he said he was going to, and still promote him as God anyway.

thank God he rose again. if it wouldnt have then we would be dead to sin but thats it. we would not be granted eternal life. death would have won and would have had power over God. this is impossible however because you cannot kill the father of life.
