So, I pass a lot of gas (both farts and burps), even at work. I never had a girlfriend, so they say it's no wonder i never had anyone. One of my workmates says that having a relationship and being with your girl equals no more gas. Are women truly appalled by farts ? I always say if they want me they have to take everything...

And i am not gay, by the way. The gas comes from my food.

I don't intend on stopping farting, however.

My friends and I have rated our burps on numerous occasions and everyone has gas so it seems pretty lame for someone to be that offended by it...Perhaps it is my sick and twisted character, but I think hearing them can be pretty damn funny, smelling them on the other hand is definitely a different story though..lol..

You have to look at the results, you yourself said you've never had anyone, gas could be one of the reasons. Lots of girls are truly turned off by a guy burping and farting. You have to re-evaluate the food you eat, which is causing all that gas, change it as soon as you can, as passing gas and not having a gf is not fun. Human beings have to strive to perfection, and constantly try to improve, the saying "if you want me you have to take everything" is for mediocre people who do not wish to improve. You still have time to improve your self-being, and your life, you've taken the first step with is asking what hte problem is, and try and find an answer. Good luck in your journey. :)

Farting and belching are normal bodily functions, but it seems like a lot of men take pride it expelling it as loudly and as obnoxiously as they possibly can. If you can't hold it in until your alone, at the very least try to make it as discreet as possible and say excuse my if it is loud. It is gross to be eating dinner and hear a loud rumble, either from your mouth or your rear end. or it totally ruins the mood to be cuddling on the couch and all of the sudden you fart really loud. Come on, women have had to hold it in for generations and do it on the sly because men view it as a turn off, why should women feel any differently about it when men do it.
Like I said, occasionally it is unavoidable, but it is disrespectful to do it all the time, just because you can.

I hate both farts and burps and if done long enough it could turn me off to the man. We all have to burp and fart at times but there is absolutely no need to do it in front of people and make them have to hear and smell it. Its just nasty.

Farting around some one is not considered a turn on. it's offensive, go to a different room and pass wind. and if your trying to get a gf then wait a while before you start to let one rip in front of her, or better yet.....wait till she does. Then you know it's OK to fart at last. and maybe try not to eat green veggies that gives ppl more gas.

I'm pretty laid back and don't care if my guy lets out a fart or burp but there's also that "time and place" thing....I would be very embarrassed if he farted or burped out loud while we were out somewhere....but while we're at home it's not a big deal....I'm sure if you kept your farts and burps down on the low at work and practiced better manners, you'd get a girlfriend.

it's just part of being polite. I mean, everyone farts and burps. and when you have grown close to someone, you can do certain things you couldnt when you first met them. I mean, you dont want to meet a cool chick and then run her off b/c you stink :) Keep it in mind, and if you like someone, hold off on the gassious leakage until after she does something embarrasing infront of you.

A person should take you for who you are all the time. My b/f does it all the time. It drives me nuts cos I know he does it most of the time to bug me. He thinks its funny ( I do not) but I still love him. Fart away just dont be obnocious about it....

Are we talking thunderous wall-rattlers and major stinkbombs, or just the occassional poot? Women fart too, buddy...let's face it! There's a certain amount of ettiquette to be observed, regardless of the gender of your fellow inhabitants...just consider what bothers you!
