Simple equation...
calories in must be less than calories expended.
It takes (approximately) 13-14 calories per total pound of a person to exist at slow-moderate movement activity (daily normal activities) per 24 hours of time. This means that a person at rest who weighs 200 pounds will require2600 calories per day to live and function properly to maintain weight. take 500 calories off of that and you will lose 1 pound per week (500x7 days=3500 cals or 1 pound of fat). Want it increase that? burn more calories (exercise) or take in less calories (eat less). If you want more information, email me and I will help you (free of charge of course).
