Why the west hate the Islam and Muslims? While Muslims do not have the same feeling toward the west?

I'd like to know why muslims hate westerners? Can any muslims please explain to us westerners........

really anti-western and anti-Israel sentiment runs rampant not purely contained in the middle east yet global. something of the international figures the west is wealthy and powerful and for this reason is evil. that's only a case of envy. yet after we attempt to make the international a much better position and help out countries we are accused of being the worlds police. Hypocritical anti-west garbage. The worst the west might want to be accused of is being detached at circumstances in direction of alternative countries and not in any respect being concerned. the purely countries and ideologies that we hate are those that threaten are way of existence and nationwide protection. it really is now to not say we hate all of Islam, basically the militant factions of it. we actually have solid relatives with many Muslim countries alongside with Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

Most Muslims do not hate the west, I mean look, they watch all the Hollywood, movies, the Arabs drive big gas guzzling American cars, everybody eats at McDonalds.

What they do hate and what all the flag burning is about are the foreign policies the west makes, i.e. invading Iraq, talks of invading Iran, (this will eventually turn to hate if the west isn't careful), giving Salman Rushdie an award for the satanic verses (when it really was garbage and insulting. Defending the cartoons blatently insulting and provoking Muslims.

So we don't hate the West we hate Wetern policies.

I don't think the west hates Islam and Muslims. Some people might be scared of it/them for their own reason - too many scare tactics on news shows, racism, religion, etc.

If you watch the news enough you'd think that all of the Muslim world hates the hell out of the west. You'd think that they want to convert or kill us all and put burkas on all the women.

Intellectually, most of us know this is just sensationalism, but, it's hard not to have a wonder if it's true in the back of your mind.

Why do they "hate us"? I doubt all of them do. The Muslims that do probably hate us for the same reasons some of us in the west hate them - ignorance, propaganda, etc.. They also know that we have been helpful to their countries "enemies" in the past. That can't help.

There are a lot of lies that people are telling about Muslims being tought to hate. This seems to be a deliberate campaign by Christian misionaries to repeat a lie so often that it becomes truth by default. Missionaries are very concerned that thousands of Christians are converting to Islam every year. They are doing every thing in their power to stop people from even reading the Quran.

I would encourage everyone who really wants to know what Islam teaches to actaully read the Quran. If the Quran tought violence and hatred, why would I encourage you to read it. I would try to hide it from you.

The reasons for conflicts with Muslims are political and economic in nature, not religious. Let me name some Muslim coutries occupied by non-Muslim forces:

Kashmir
Chechniya
Somalia
Afghanistan
Palestine
Mindanao
Iraq
Southern Thailand
Eastern Turkistan

I don't know of any Christian coutry that is occupied by a Muslim country.

The problem all comes from lack of understanding, people fear things they don't understand. The Muslims in the Middle-east do not like how the America's foreign policy (neither do many Americans). But there are just as many who appreciate being liberated from the deviant Ideologies of the Taliban, and oppresive rule of corrupt dictators.

The ones, who do hate do not see how I being an American Born Muslim have all the same rights and opportunities of every other American. Especially when it comes to education, there is no barrier preventing me from reaching any position in society. All they see is American soldiers killing them, or supplying Israel with weapons to kill Palestinians.

Also Terrorism and Suicide Bombing are not Islamic, those claiming do to so have a perverted understanding, simply ask and Scholar of Islamic Jurisprudence (theory of law) and he will explain.

Those who use verses out of context , and have no understanding of Qu'ran, are as astray as the Terrorists. If we are supposed to kill Infidels, indiscriminately then why are there, non-Muslims in Muslim countries? How can people do business with Muslims? How does Dick Cheney, meet with Saudi Prince?. These are vast misconceptions.

A Muslim can never kill a person unless it is self-defense, and Jihad can never be established by any person other than a head of state. (Check that link I gave, it will explain to you)

Know the true God-Fearing, Law-Abiding Muslims are the vast majority, who humble themselves in prayer in submission to our Creator and await the Day of Judgment, where no soul will be wronged, and people will be recompensed for the deeds they used to do.

I have lived in the middle east for a long time as a westerner and i can promise you that muslims do NOT hate westerners. however, they do feel their religion and way of life is being threatened, so they are reacting to what they see as agression by the west. also, they are angry that the west put Jews in Israel, a territory that is holy to Islam and they want Israel and the Jews out of here.

Many Muslims hate Israel if not all. They hate the west for supporting Israel.
