Having been to lunch with female colleagues myself, some of whom may have been single, others not, but myself not being single, I can certainly say that 'IT'S JUST LUNCH'. Many of us make friends in the workplace - it would be stranger not to - you're with some likeminded and intelligent people, why would you ignore them?
If the girl you mentioned has a boyfriend / fiancee and he's getting jealous, that's immaturity on his part. Immaturity not to trust her, and to allow his imagination to read something that's just not there. It was lunch, not dinner, not drinks after work (which would also probably be nothing), not holding hands or being seen giving one another parting kisses. They're just colleagues, and maybe friends. That's it.
The fact that you are concerned about this does raise questions as to whether or not you mean what you say about not wanting a boyfriend. If he's not your boyfriend, maybe you should ask yourself why you even THINK you need to be worried. The two of you have not made any kind of committment, you're not even dating. So for both those reasons, you shouldn't be feeling anxious.

No i didnt think so, i think this early on in the relationship/fling if this was the case he would have not had to tell you about the other girl . i think though that you must like him more than you think you do, otherwise you would not be too worried if he was hooking up with another girl. it could be that he told you this because he really likes you and wanted you to feel a bit jealous and was just looking for a reaction from you. this isn't anything to worry about , just take your time figure out what you want from him and go with the flow. hope all goes well :0)

you said you were friends and now you are worried that he is going to lunch with somebody ? I think you need to make up your mind . do you want a boyfriend or not ? and also he said he does not want a girlfriend . find someone you can be interested in . I think that it is definately not this guy . good luck.

well it depends what u want him for. if u say that he doesnt want agirlfriend and u dont want a boyfriend then what's the big deal he has the right to ask another girl out. so maybe u should think about if thats really what u want or if u like him enough to have a relationship with.

So you don't want a boyfriend, but you want your boy-friend to not date other women or you will be jealous and be "Worried"
Sounds like you really DO want a boyfriend, if so, dump this guy and find one that is not afraid of making a commitment.
Good Luck!

Sorry girl, he sounds like a player.
Ask yourself this if he had the opportunity with this other girl would he take it?
Move on, hes toxic. He wants your affections but without the involvement.
