How do I get rid of it?? I cleaned out the inside of the microwave with orange cleaner, so now it smells like burnt popcorn and oranges. I left the door open over night, and the smell is still there! What can I do to get the smell out?

Put a cup of vinegar in a microwave bowl and let it cook for 5-10 minutes. the odor will be gone.

I am assuming that your microwave has a venting system with a fan like most modern versions. If so, the oil and fat that you were cooking probably vaporized and was redeposited all along the venting system. Unless you are good at disassembling electronics then I would say your are stuck with the smell. The plastic on the inside may be porous and might have absorbed some of the oil/fat. A small amount of unscented liquid detergent may help. If you are really desperate you might want to try denture cleaner.

Wash it out with baking soda and warm water, and let it air. Or try boiling lemon juice and water for 5 minutes or so. Sometimes it just takes time. I wouldn't use any commercial cleaners, even ones that say they're safe for your micro, because they could get into your food.

I had the same problem. The only thing I found that helped was cleaning with vinegar and water and lots of time.

positioned about a million/4 lemon juice or vinegar in a espresso mug. Microwave on extreme till it truly is boiling warm. go away the door close till the liquid is warmth (about quarter-hour) eliminate and then wipe the condensation from the in the microwave. go away the door open for it to dry thoroughly.
