A good point well put.
However, as soon as one sets foot there, the island will then no longer be uninhabited, thus leading to further problems. This means that to carry out your policy, we would have to spend a fortune on exploration, and pretty soon all the tabloids will have to change their tune to 'bloody explorers, sponging off the state'
If you want to see the root cause of the problems you talk about, buy a restaurant in a big city, and put up a sign saying 'wanted, someone to work unsocial hours washing plates for minimum wage'. See how many non-migrants apply.

The thing is most of them that are labelled asylum seekers are not genuine. It's the governments fault. There should be stricter vetting processes. But you can't blame a lot of theses people, to come to this country and live in relative luxury on benefits compared to the hardships of some of their countries wouldn't you go for. Not wanting to sound racist but we should close our borders NOW! We are only a Small country and there are enough people here already, and a lot of them shouldn't be here.
It seems the more ethnic, disabled, gay or lesbian you are the more you get. Tell me I'm wrong but that's not equal rights!

In a lot of peoples eyes that would be ideal but not ethical.
We all have a responsiblilty to look after the less fortunate. Dispite the few who see us as an enemy.
I personaly dislike our human rights laws which for some stupid reason enables someone who denies these rights to others to continue to keep their own. ie Any criminal element, There is no victimless crime

Maybe put people like you on uninhabited islands would sort out the problem better, since you sound uneducated.

Good idea, lets put them on the isle of man, no one ever goes there, and if they get lost trying to get off they may well end up in Iceland. That will teach them !
