Do you believe that some, if not all, humans posess a 'killer gene'?

This has been explained, satisfactory in my view, by ethologhists like K.Lorenz and N. Tinbergen years ago.
Humans have no natural weapons (strong teeth, sharp claws, horns, etc.) that would make it necessary to have a very strong instinctive reluctance to kill each other, bar attacking somebody with bare hands. But even so the reluctance is fairly strong, that's why soldiers have to be trained and indoctrinated to be killers.
Of course there are some individuals without any empathy and scruples, but in my view that's more down to a personal reaction to upbringing than to genetics.

Not specifically a killer gene but maybe something similar to what sociopaths have where they just don't care

humans, as animals, have instinctive defense mechanisms. but not killer genes.
