My boyfriend has had more than double sexual partners than me. He is faithful, but the fact that he's been with so many partners eats away at my insides...i'm always pondering it, and it makes me feel jealous and down. Is this normal, or should we be looking into some therapy?

I don't know what others may say-right or wrong-I feel the same way. I have been with my boyfriend for almost 3 years and I still feel the same way. It's like when we see a girl he used to go out with, I know when I see a guy that I used to go out with it brings up feelings(if they look good, are doing good for themselves, have better to offer than I do) I don't know if we are right or wrong in how we feel, but myself and some of my friends do feel the same way. My boyfriend has a cheating past with his ex which has been a long time ago, but because of that, it makes me insecure or like I'm not good enough. Maybe the only answer can be answered professionally. Each person is different in their feelings and since I don't know your past, maybe you should seek counseling. If you get any answers, please share because it has almost ruined us quite a few times over this issue. It sucks but it's the way I feel. Please share any advise you get-maybe it would help me deal. Hope it works out for you.

You don't need to look into therapy, you are just insecure. It's not your problem, and shouldn't be your concern about what your b/f did before you, especially since you say he's faithful. Just get over it, you're only going to make yourself nuts along with him.

My friend is in the exact same position. She constantly worries and complains about the large amount of partners her bf has had in the past. MAKE SURE, 100% sure, that he is faithful to you. Players rarely change their ways. My friend's bf still cheats on her left and right with every chick he sees. Hopefully, your bf doesn't do that. If he is truly faithful to you, it shouldn't matter. The past is the past.

Its normal at first but you'll grow out of it. Trust me I did. We've engaged now and I make fun of him for it saying "You're the playa".

it's completly normal and i wouldn't consider therapy............just keep in your mind that you're the one he's chosen to be with so can't be too bad in bed! and he must love you. don't get down, they were in the past and you're his future.
