People drink more when they are depressed. I understand that depression runs rampid in India because of the intense pressure put on by the families to succeed.

Off the top of my head I will say the price of oil. Usually this cause Shipping Costs to go up and it has to be passed on to the final consumer. Also, it can cause operating expenses like Electric and those things to increase. This again has to be paid for by the consumer.
