I put mine in the mixer with all my addtional ingredients and mix for a few minutes and it usually comes out just right.

I prefer a little lumpy over creamy! but if you want really creamy filling, use a powered hand mixer to whip the egg yolks after you've mixed in the mayo.

If using just a fork makes it too lumpy for you liking, I would try to use a hand mixer on low and see how that helps.

You will need.
12 eggs
2 tsp Sweet Relish.
1tbsp mayo.
Boil your eggs,peel and cut into halves. Using a teaspoon carefully scope out the yolk.
Place yolks in a bowl add your sweet relish and mix well.
When you done, replace yolk mixture back in the egg halves....
Delicious and very addictive.

My recipe:
Mustard
Mayo
Relish
Egg yolks
Take a potato masher and just mash them until smooth. Spoon into remaining eggs!

If you have a ricer, that is the best way. Use the fine disk.
(A ricer looks like a gigantic garlic press)...it also makes perfectly smooth mashed potatoes and refried beans.
