The ark and slave ships.

1. Stifling and overcrowded
2. The smell of filth permeates the air
3. Passengers must either stay aboard or die
4. Passengers had no choice except to board or die

Everyone agrees that the transport of humans from Africa to America was disgusting. Of course, forcing them to leave their families was bad enough, but the sheer inhumanity of the transport conditions is repulsive. Why then, do people glorify life on the Ark? At least it didn't take a year for a slave ship to sail to America.

God could have done better for his chosen people. Seriously.

Remember that the ark was full of alien technologies, thus separating it totally from the likeness of a slave ship.

I don't think anyone seriously 'glorifies' life on the ark. However, as it was the only means of staying alive, it was the best option. The occupants of the slave ships did not want or need to be there. Huge difference...simply huge.

Boy, are you grasping. Comparing the story of Noah (who used the ark to save animals and his family) to slave ships (that trasported human cargo). There is no comparison. Noah's ark was used to preserve life, not ruin it. It is much better then a slave ship.
