Depends on when you get your W2's, when you file, how you file. I usually get mine the last week of Jan. or the 1st week in Feb.

If you e-file and opt for direct deposit, you can get your refund back within 2 weeks. If you file and mail a paper return, and request a check, the IRS says that they will take 4-6 weeks. Also, the earlier you file, the quicker the IRS will process a return. As time approaches April 15 and everyone else begins filing, the IRS will get inundated with returns so naturally it will take them longer to process. If the IRS cannot process your refund within 45 days (it can happen), they will pay you interest on the refund due to you.

Usually once the tax season kicks in, the IRS sends out refunds every Friday. It's possible to get your refund sooner, but in my experience it's always been on a Friday.
If your refund is direct deposited, it should be 8 - 12 days from the time the IRS accepts your return.

It depends on when you filed and how you filed. If you file with H & R Block, you could get an advance the same day and the rest in a day or 14 business days.
