water runs on floor

There is usually a pan located beneath the refrigerator that will fill up and the heat from the fridge will cause the water to evaporate. However, if the water is coming out faster than it can evaporate, you will get water on the floor.

As someone else mentioned, there is also usually a tube on the back of the refrigerator that leads down to the pan. If that somehow came loose, it may be letting the water drop on the floor instead of in the pan.

Be careful if you tilt the fridge up at any point...if that pan does have any water in it, you may get a surprise and a bid puddle full of old water and dust on the floor. Be ready with a large beach towel just in case.

(By the way, you may have received a better response if this question was asked in Household or Consumer Electronics, rather than Infectious Diseases - lol)

look inside, for a hole low on the back wall, it will be a circular hole, you may have got a plastic rod with your fridge for clearing it

good luck
